Loving solid food

I can't believe how quickly time flies. Liam is already old enough to eat solids---and I must say, he LOVES them! He was a little unsure at first. More food ended up on his face than in his mouth. But he grasped the concept pretty fast, and now he is all about squash, apples, pears, and sweet potatoes :)

But at the end of the day, he is still a sucker for his bottle. Boy does he love love his bottle. And I am glad he does---because I love cuddling him while he eats :)

A Day at the Dog Show

About a month ago we went to a Sheep Dog Show up at Sleepy Hollow. I had never been to one before and it was really cool. These dogs are really amazing. They have to herd all of these sheep down the mountain and into a little fenced off area. They run around the sheep, making sure to not loose one, and somehow they do it! Pretty cool to watch. And I was amazed at how many thousands of people were there watching. Apparently it is quite an attraction. Who knew?

They also had a dog diving contest where dogs would jump off a dock into the water after a toy, and the length of the jump was measured. I kept picturing Bosco taking part in this contest. He would make it about six inches off the dock and sink to the bottom of the pool! ha poor bulldog.

If you have never been before, I highly recommend going!

Could he be any cuter?

I LOVE it when Liam laughs. I remember the very first time he laughed when he was a few months old. It just melted my heart. And now he laughs all the time. It is such a rewarding feeling when you know that your child is happy and will just laugh and laugh at the littlest things. These are the times when being a mom is the best thing in the world.
